Finnikin of the Rock - Tom Wren, Melina Marchetta This isn't the first audiobook I've started, but it's the first I've ever finished. Tom Wren -- bravo on the narration. He gets the emotions of the characters and doesn't sound ridiculous when changing his voice to get into character. Have you tried [b:The Hunger Games|7723926|The Hunger Games (Hunger Games, #1)|Suzanne Collins|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41aOFHg8wzL._SL75_.jpg|2792775] audiobook? Listening to the narrator attempt a high pitched voice for Prim almost put me off audiobooks forever. Tom Wren thankfully doesn't do this. His deep, Aussie-accented voice is very easy on the ears. :) I can only hope that when HBO or a movie studio comes to its senses and picks up the rights to this book, they hire an actor with a similar voice for Trevanion.
